Department of Entomology

Conducts, evaluates and reports field research on control tactics for insect pests of field and vegetable crops at UW Agricultural Research Stations and on-farm locations in collaboration with Entomology department faculty. Research-based efficacy results are generated for chemical control tactics and Bt corn hybrids within an IPM context. Co-authors the Wisconsin Pest Management Center annual report, a collaborative effort between field and vegetable crop entomology extension programs. As IR-4 researcher, coordinates and conducts research trials using Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards under USDA's IR-4 program.
