This issue of MBCN is focused on entomopathogenic nematodes. These biological control agents are increasingly being used in IPM programs for managing a wide array of pest species in diverse cropping systems. These nematodes, like other biological control agents, require a knowledgeable user to achieve optimal results. The recent national workshop on Optimal Use of Insecticidal Nematodes in Pest Management held at Rutgers University, highlighted the importance of these organisms and provided comprehensive information to various end-users. The feature article in this issue was one of the excellent presentations at the workshop.
