1998 Midwest Biological Control Summer Workshop
June 23-25, 1998
Kellogg Biological Station, Michigan
This workshop will be based around presentations and in-depth discussions of two areas of biological control. The two topics selected for this workshop are: (1) habitat manipulation and management for biological control, and (2) biological control in annual crop habitats. Graduate students and extension specialists attending the workshop are encouraged to prepare poster presentations of their work related to the topic areas. Registration fee is $150 for students; $300 for non-students (includes all course materials, 3 nights lodging and most meals). The American Society for Horticultural Science Annual Conference
Charlotte, North Carolina
The conference includes more than 150 sessions on a range of horticultural topics. There is also a pre-conference session on vegetable production using plasticulture along with a series of pre and post conference tours.
